Why Are Reports Password Protected?
CYRISMA reports often contain sensitive vulnerability, compliance, or data classification results. Password-protecting these reports helps:
- Prevent unauthorized access if a file is downloaded or shared.
- Ensure an additional layer of protection during file storage or transmission.
- Maintain compliance with industry security best practices.
Password Protected Reports are turned off by default

Downloading Reports and Accessing Passwords
When a report is generated and ready to download, you will see a confirmation window:
Next to the Download Report button, there will be a “copy to clipboard” icon. This is your report password, which you can click to copy.
🔒 Tip: The report will only be accessible using this password when opening the downloaded file.

Finding Passwords in the Report Builder
All generated reports are listed in the Report Builder under the Generated Reports tab.
In the Action column, each report will display a small password bubble and clipboard icon. Hover over the icon to view the password, or click the clipboard icon to copy it.
Reports will remain available for 24 hours from the date of generation.

Opening Your Report
Once you download a report and attempt to open the file, your system will prompt you to enter the password.
Simply paste the copied password when prompted to access the report.
Summary
All CYRISMA-generated reports are now password-protected.
Passwords are available at the time of download and from the Report Builder.
