Key Support Note

1. Agent Fails During Initial Provisioning

  • If the agent fails while being initially provisioned, it is important to check that the "Server" service is running on the host machine where the agent is being installed.
    • How to Check:
      1. Open the Services console on the host machine (you can do this by typing services.msc in the Run dialog or search bar).
      2. Look for the service named "Server" in the list.
      3. Ensure that the service is running. If it is not, right-click on the service and select Start.

Conclusion

Ensuring that the "Server" service is running on the agent host is a key step in resolving provisioning failures. If the service is not active, starting it should allow the agent to complete the provisioning process successfully.
